Making A Monument (Sculpting In Clay & 3D Printing)

Once again we join our friends Wesley and Odyssey Wofford in their sculpting studio nestled peacefully in the mountains of Western North Carolina. Wesley shares with us his process of sculpting monuments out of clay and the high tech processes he uses to 3D model and print prototypes.

After completing a project, he has them cast and disassembled to make their journey to the metal shops that cast the final product.
