We Explored An Abandoned Mill (Glendale, SC)

On our way to Spartanburg, SC we stopped by the abandoned Glendale Mill in South Carolina just outside Spartanburg. Murph originally found an article about the bridge that had recently been restored and we wanted to check it out.

Little did we know, we were in for a big surprise because the old bridge led to an incredibly expansive park filled with the archaeological remains of an historic mill and every part of it was, seemingly, open to the public.

REMINDER: If you decide to visit this location or others like it, be sure to leave it how you found it. It might be easy to see a location like this as an eyesore or just rubble. But it's an important part of the local history and when we're invited and allowed to interact with this history like this, it allows many to connect to their past. Be respectful, don't take items, don't leave your mark, and leave it the way you found it so other people can explore it as well.
